Overview
The American Society of Implant & Reconstructive Dentistry (ASIRD) is a professional organization that focuses on promoting the benefits of dental implants and ensuring high standards in dental implant procedures. Their primary goal is to educate the public about the advantages of dental implants and the critical importance of choosing a skilled and experienced team of dental professionals, comprising both surgeons and dentists, who work in close collaboration.
The organization maintains high membership standards, accepting only dentists and surgeons who have significant experience in performing dental implants. Membership is by invitation only, ensuring that only those who meet rigorous criteria and demonstrate a high level of proficiency in dental implant procedures are included.
ASIRD sought out our team at Bowtie to develop and an administrative application built using React and Rails API. This application manages members with various roles and sub-roles, allows for data import and editing, generates exports and reports, and publishes real-time data to two other web applications — a marketing website and a public directory of practitioners. Both of these platforms were developed by our team. My role on the team was primarily developing the React side of both the marketing website and directory of practitioners.
